CTO / Principal Software Architect - Agentic SaaS

We are looking CTO / Principal Software Architect to own the technical architecture and guide the development team.

This is primarily an architecture and technical leadership role rather than daily hands-on development. However, you should be able to review code, create technical prototypes, and contribute directly when needed.

About the project
 

B2B marketing platform used by global agencies and brands.

The company is rebuilding its existing workflow-based product into an agent-first platform where AI agents can manage marketing campaigns on behalf of users.
 

Key responsibilities

• Design the architecture of a new agent-first B2B SaaS platform
• Build secure multi-tenant isolation across agencies, brands, offices, and regions
• Design permissions that allow AI agents to act for users without exceeding their access
• Define service boundaries, APIs, data flows, and agent orchestration
• Create architecture diagrams, API specifications, and technical design documents
• Guide developers and review key technical decisions
• Establish engineering standards and development processes
• Challenge weak decisions and clearly explain technical trade-offs
   

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of experience designing software and system architecture
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python
• Production experience with AI agents, multi-agent systems, or agent orchestration
• Strong understanding of distributed and event-driven systems
• Ability to produce clear architecture documentation
• Strong English communication skills
