We are looking for a Business Performance Analyst (Product / Commercial Analytics (CS2 marketplace) to join our product team in the eSports industry.

 

About the project

Our product is a next-generation platform for the CS2 skin economy.

The product combines a B2C marketplace for players with B2B infrastructure that enables partners to purchase inventory, process skin-based payments, and integrate our services into their own products.

As the platform continues to scale, we are focused on improving business performance, optimizing unit economics, pricing, inventory efficiency, and overall profitability.

 

Reason for opening a vacancy

We need a dedicated specialist responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying growth opportunities, and improving the project's financial efficiency. This role will focus on optimizing unit economics, pricing strategies, supplier performance, operational processes, and overall business profitability. You will play a key role in building the Business Performance Analytics function for our product, creating transparency across the business, identifying financial growth opportunities, and driving measurable improvements in Gross Profit, margins, and operational efficiency.

The primary goal is to continuously identify data-driven opportunities that increase revenue, improve margins, and support sustainable business growth. This is an individual contributor role with a direct impact on business performance, commercial strategy, and financial decision-making.

Current team: Dev Team, Marketing Team, Support Team.

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial experience in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, Finance, Strategy, or Performance Analysis.
  • Commercial experience in Gaming, iGaming, FinTech, Marketplaces, or E-commerce.
  • Proven experience identifying business growth opportunities and improving profitability through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with SQL and BI tools.
  • Understanding of unit economics, pricing strategies, and financial metrics.
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Ability to transform data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong analytical thinking and practical experience are valued more than formal education.
  • English โ€” Upper-Intermediate+.
  • Ukrainian or Russian โ€” Upper-Intermediate+ / Advanced (required for internal communication).

 

List of technologies

  • SQL
  • Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Experience with at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar
  • Google Analytics
  • ChatGPT and other AI tools
  • Basic understanding of Databases and APIs

 

Will be an advantage

  • Experience with pricing optimization or revenue management.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning.
  • Experience working in high-growth technology companies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own business performance analysis across our product and its core business operations.
  • Monitor key business KPIs, identify performance trends, investigate anomalies, and proactively identify business growth opportunities.
  • Analyze unit economics, profitability, pricing models, commissions, supplier performance, and inventory turnover to improve business performance.
  • Translate analytical insights into measurable business impact by developing data-driven recommendations for pricing, business processes, and commercial strategy.
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support strategic decision-making and new business initiatives.
  • Identify bottlenecks in business processes and propose optimization strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to implement business improvements.
  • Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and actionable insights while driving continuous business optimization initiatives that improve revenue, margins, and operational efficiency.
