CBDO (Chief Business Development Officer)
We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Development Officer to drive the company's commercial growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our global market presence.
This is a key leadership role with direct influence on the company's growth strategy. You will work closely with the executive team to identify new business opportunities, establish long-term partnerships, and build scalable revenue channels across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's global Business Development strategy.
- Identify new markets, verticals, and commercial opportunities.
- Build, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships with key industry players.
- Lead enterprise-level negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Design and implement scalable sales and partnership processes.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through new business initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Operations, and Executive teams.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Business Development team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, or Commercial leadership roles.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- A strong network within FinTech, Payments, Banking, E-commerce, or related industries.
- A proven track record of building strategic partnerships and closing enterprise-level deals.
- Experience working with international clients and global markets.
- Excellent commercial awareness and outstanding negotiation skills.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a Payment Service Provider (PSP), FinTech, or Financial Services company.
- Existing relationships with banks, payment providers, merchants, or strategic partners.
- Experience launching new markets or scaling international business operations.
- Strong understanding of the global payments ecosystem and financial technologies.
