Senior Go Developer (Polish-speaking)

About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Go Developer to join a long-term remote project. The ideal candidate has strong commercial experience with Go and is comfortable working in a Polish-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go.
• Build scalable, high-performance applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience designing and developing backend services and APIs.
• Good understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Polish language – B2 or higher (spoken is mandatory).
• English – B2 or higher is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
