Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join an international project focused on a self-hosted (on-premises) ServiceNow environment. The role involves developing and configuring ServiceNow solutions within the CRM module, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating closely with architects and cross-functional teams.
This position is best suited for engineers with deep ServiceNow platform expertise who are comfortable working beyond standard cloud ITSM implementations and have hands-on experience with on-prem ServiceNow deployments.
Responsibilities
- Configure and develop ServiceNow solutions based on approved user stories.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable code following project standards.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Conduct unit testing for all delivered functionality.
- Collaborate with solution architects to identify cross-platform dependencies and potential impacts across modules.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and code quality.
Required Skills
- 5โ8 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow on-premises (self-hosted) environments.
- Strong experience with the ServiceNow CRM module.
- Active ServiceNow Certification.
- Strong knowledge of:
- JavaScript
- Jelly
- Web Services (SOAP and/or REST)
- XML
- HTML
- CSS
- Experience with Agile software development and SDLC.
- Broad knowledge of the overall ServiceNow platform.
- Deep expertise in at least one ServiceNow domain or module.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Candidates whose experience is limited to cloud-hosted ServiceNow ITSM implementations are unlikely to be a suitable match for this role.
