Payment Specialist (Crypto)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Payment Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing banking and EMI relationships, supporting client onboarding, and ensuring smooth payment operations for regulated financial businesses.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the end-to-end process of opening and maintaining corporate bank and EMI accounts.

•Prepare and submit applications and supporting documentation to banks and Electronic Money Institutions.

•Liaise with banks, EMIs, payment providers, legal partners, and internal teams.

•Coordinate AML/KYC and due diligence processes.

•Manage and optimize customer onboarding procedures.

•Understand and improve the complete customer journey from onboarding through ongoing product usage.

•Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

•Support payment operations for licensed crypto exchanges, money service businesses, and other regulated financial institutions.

•Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and payment providers.

Requirements

•Proven experience opening bank and EMI accounts for both high-risk and low-risk businesses.

•Mandatory experience working with cryptocurrency exchanges or other crypto-related businesses.

•Strong understanding of banking compliance, AML/KYC, and customer due diligence requirements.

•Hands-on experience managing onboarding processes.

•Excellent understanding of payment operations and banking infrastructure.

•Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

•High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
