Thе tеаm іs lооkіng fоr а Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist tо jоіn FinOps tеаm.

This is an opportunity to step into one of the most in-demand areas of cloud technology and work with innovative customers, helping them make smart decisions about their cloud usage. Your first month will be dedicated to learning the basics (including AWS Practitioner certification), and you’ll gradually take on more responsibility by managing customers and taking care of their complex projects from the FinOps side.

Location: remote from Lviv (or region)

Responsibilities

• Guide our customers through AWS billing and usage data, helping them understand key insights and trends.
• Partner with customers to review their cloud consumption and highlight cost optimization opportunities.
• Use external and internal tools to guide customers, set budgets, monitor usage patterns, and detect spending anomalies.
• Turn cloud usage data into clear, actionable recommendations and follow up on the impact of those changes.
• Create and present easy-to-understand reports and dashboards
• Support the smooth onboarding of new customers into client’s FinOps services.

Requirements

• Customer-oriented and excellent communication skills
• Ability to learn AWS cloud architecture and services
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational and task management skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting, and task management systems
• Ability to work with data, spot trends, and draw practical conclusions
• Ability to translate reports into simple insights and actionable recommendations
• A degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, or Big Data – an advantage
• Understanding of cloud platforms (especially AWS) and basic architecture concepts – an advantage

About the Company

Responsibilities

• Manage management accounting with a focus on payment flows and transaction pathways.
• Develop and automate systems for tracking and accounting of client transactions.
• Communicate with clients regarding financial operations, reporting, and account inquiries.

We are an international fintech and digital services company. Our activities include building and supporting corporate payment infrastructure, integrating with banks and payment providers (PSPs), and working on projects in high-risk sectors and online entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own daily payment flows: authorization → clearing → reconciliation → treasury & T+N settlements.

• Manage relationships and SLAs with banks/PSPs/EMIs; handle escalations and

fee/tariff discussions.

• Set up and enforce SOPs, controls, and incident management (alerts, root cause,

prevention).

• Ensure accurate management accounting for payment flows (gross/net, fees, reserves).

• Lead and develop the team; plan workload and priorities.

• Drive light-weight automation and reporting (dashboards, auto-reconciliation where

feasible).

Requirements:

• 2+ years in payments/acquiring/PSP operations; 1+ years in a lead/manager role.

• Hands-on with reconciliation, settlements/treasury, dispute/chargeback basics, fee

structures.

• Experience working with multiple PSPs/banks and EMI safeguarding specifics.

• Strong operational rigor and documentation discipline (SOPs, controls, KPIs).

• English — working proficiency (B2+) for vendor communications.

- Organize and accompany the opening of corporate accounts with banks, EMIs, and PSPs.
- Prepare and submit document packages (corporate, KYC/AML, UBO/directors).
- Communicate with banks, payment systems, and crypto exchanges.
- Control KYC/AML procedures and interact with compliance departments.
- Set up payment solutions for companies in different jurisdictions.

✅ Requirements:

• Experience working at a bank or payment system, specifically in client payment processing.
• Experience with SWIFT and SEPA.
• Experience in submitting payment reconciliations to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) or central banks in the EU.

• Слідкування за дашбордами у Amplitude -  виявлення відхилень у платіжних показниках, аномалій і повідомлення про них Payment Manager.
• Ведення та оновлення бази платіжних провайдерів: тарифні умови, стадії інтеграції, статуси контрактів.
• Збір, підготовка та впорядкування документації та матеріалів для онбордингу нових платіжних партнерів та систем.
• Підготовка чернеток листів для платіжних провайдерів, банків, саппорту.
• Створення тікетів у підтримці PSP та відстежування їхнього статусу.
• Допомога Customer Support у підготовці відповідей на платіжні запити користувачів (за шаблоном).
• Ведення первинного аналізу даних: declined/failed payments, refunds, chargebacks - виявлення трендів і потенційних поліпшень.
• Перевірка платіжного флоу після оновлень (за чек-листом).

• Excel/Google Sheets  - впевнений користувач.
• Знання термінів платіжної сфери: refund, chargeback, decline, recurring payment.
• Англійська Intermediate+ для ділового листування (здатність писати та читати робочі листи з партнерами/провайдерами).

• Уважність до деталей: перевірка даних і документів, щоб уникати помилок.
• Організованість і системність: вміння впорядковувати бази, документацію та задачі.
• Комунікабельність: грамотне, чітке спілкування з колегами та партнерами, вміння пояснити простими словами.

• Досвід у fintech, e-commerce чи роботі з платіжними системами.
• Попередня робота у сфері фінансів, аналітики чи клієнтського сервісу.
• Досвід роботи з Google DataStudio, Amplitude.
