Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead to signed contract
- Work with qualified opportunities received through Upwork
- Conduct discovery calls to identify clients’ business needs and project requirements
- Build strong relationships with potential clients and guide them through the decision-making process
- Lead negotiations and successfully close new business opportunities
- Prepare commercial proposals together with the technical team
- Participate in project estimations and pre-sales activities
- Collaborate closely with engineers, resource managers, and delivery teams to prepare the best solution for each client
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients after deal closure
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Ensure a smooth handover of new projects while remaining involved in strategic account development
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT Sales or Business Development
- Experience working with Upwork
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from discovery to deal closure
- Understanding of outsourcing and outstaffing business models
- Experience participating in technical pre-sales
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to understand clients’ business goals and match them with technical solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher English
Will be a plus
- Experience selling dedicated teams or software development services
- Experience working with AI, web, or mobile development projects
- Experience growing existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Understanding of SDLC and software development processes
