• Product Information Management (PIM) system handling 2 million items
• Price Management System (PMS) managing 11+ million purchase prices and
even more sale prices
• Vendor Portal for supplier interactions
• ERP API integrations
• WMS API integrations
• Various supplementary projects supporting our core business operations
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Middle to Senior PHP Developers to join our expanding
technical team. The ideal candidate will have strong Symfony experience and thrive in
an autonomous work environment while collaborating within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain our B2B platform using PHP 8.4+ and Symfony
framework
• Implement new features according to business requirements and user feedback
• Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of existing large-scale systems
• Work on high-performance solutions for systems handling millions of data
points
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality standards
• Work with DevOps processes involving Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and
reviews
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Create automation solutions to improve development and operational efficiency• Taking responsibility for code that is committed even when using AI.
• Strong listening skills for effective team and client communication
• Develop a solid understanding of our platform and its business context -
including how PIM, PMS, Vendor Portal, and ERP/WMS integrations fit together -
to make well-informed technical decisions.
• Proactively identify technical debt, architectural risks, and improvement
opportunities, raising them with the team rather than waiting to be asked.
• Think in business terms — understand the downstream impact of the systems you
build on pricing accuracy, supplier workflows, and client procurement, and
factor that into your technical priorities.
Requirements (Must-Have)
• 4+ years of experience in PHP development (PHP 8.x)
• Strong Symfony framework expertise
• Proficient with Git version control
• Experience with MySQL 8 or similar relational databases
• Knowledge of Docker containerization
• Familiar with agile methodologies and Kanban
• Experience with PHPUnit is MUST HAVE
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to ramp up quickly on large, interconnected systems and understand how
your work fits into a broader platform used by real businesses.
• Proactive mindset — you spot problems and propose solutions before they
become incidents and take ownership beyond your immediate ticket.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment with a
genuine sense of ownership over the quality and reliability of what you ship.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience with Kubernetes (k8s)
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of message queuing systems like LavinMQ
• Experience with blob storage solutions
• Proficiency with code quality tools (PHP-CS-Fixer, PHPStan)
• CI/CD pipeline experience• Jira and GitHub workflow familiarity
• B2B platform or e-commerce development background
• Experience with E2E testing methodologies
• Experience with front-end technologies, such as TailwindCSS, Svelte, or Twig
