Performance Creative Strategist for Digital Marketing Agency
The company is looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to lead the development, testing, and optimization of high-performing paid social creatives across a portfolio of B2B brands.
This role is ideal for someone who combines creative thinking with data-driven decision-making. You'll be responsible for developing concepts for both video and static ads, identifying winning messaging, hooks, offers, and creative angles that drive lead generation and business growth.
This is not a production role. Instead, you'll focus on strategy, research, creative ideation, briefing creative teams, and continuously improving performance through structured testing.
What You'll Do
Creative Strategy & Ideation
- Develop creative concepts for paid social campaigns across multiple B2B brands.
- Create compelling messaging, hooks, offers, and creative frameworks for both video and static ads.
- Build and manage structured creative testing roadmaps.
- Generate fresh ideas based on customer insights, market research, and campaign performance.
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of new creative testing opportunities.
Research & Market Analysis
- Research competitor advertising across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging creative opportunities.
- Analyze customer pain points, motivations, objections, and buying behavior.
- Identify patterns behind successful campaigns and apply learnings to future creative strategies.
Creative Briefing & Direction
- Prepare detailed creative briefs for designers, video editors, and content creators.
- Clearly define messaging, objectives, creative direction, and campaign goals.
- Review creative assets and provide strategic feedback to improve performance.
Performance Optimization
- Analyze creative performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Turn campaign insights into new testing hypotheses and creative concepts.
- Document learnings and contribute to ongoing creative knowledge systems.
- Collaborate closely with media buyers and growth marketing teams to maximize campaign results.
- Continuously refine creative testing frameworks to improve performance over time.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or digital advertising.
- Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles.
- Experience developing creative testing strategies and frameworks.
- Experience creating briefs for designers, editors, or content creators.
- Ability to develop concepts for both video and static advertising creatives.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
- Experience with Meta advertising platforms.
- Experience collaborating with media buyers and performance marketing teams.
- Ability to manage creative strategy across multiple brands and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of customer psychology, messaging, hooks, and offer development.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
