The Role
We are looking for a Retention Manager who will own the indirect revenue channel for one of our top creators. This is not a task-execution role - we need someone who thinks strategically, takes ownership, and drives results independently.
Your core mission: grow indirect revenue through high-quality mass mailings and posts, using data to continuously improve what you do.
What You Will Do
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain a monthly indirect revenue strategy
- Build a structured mailing calendar with clear segmentation logic
- Monitor daily performance on assigned creator pages
- Report on results and propose improvements proactively
Mailings & Content
- Plan and launch daily paid mass mailings - volume varies based on page activity and traffic flows
- Keep the page active with regular posts, calibrated to the creator's content rhythm and audience behavior
- Write copy for mailings and posts with a focus on engagement and conversion
- Manage audience segmentation to run targeted campaigns at scale
Analytics
- Work with Power BI dashboards to track key metrics
- Identify underperforming campaigns, diagnose root causes, and iterate
- Scale what works; cut what doesn't
Team Interaction
- Participate in weekly indirect revenue calls (analysis + hypothesis testing)
- Coordinate with the lead on major strategic decisions
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 1+ year in customer retention, lifecycle marketing, or a closely related field
- Experience doesn't have to be email-specific - VIP retention, community management, or any role focused on keeping and re-engaging customers counts
- Copywriting skills with a conversion focus
Analytical Skills
- Comfortable working with analytical data - dashboards, metrics, performance reports
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools (you don't need to be an expert, but you need to understand what the numbers mean and act on them)
Mindset
- You take ownership and make decisions without needing approval for every step
- You're results-oriented, not task-oriented - you care whether the mailing worked, not just that it was sent
- You're flexible about your schedule: the role fits within a standard workday, but there are evening calls and occasional peaks that require adaptability
Nice to Have
- Experience with photo/video editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Background in SMM or content creation
- Experience with subscription-based or creator-driven platforms
- Familiarity with audience segmentation and A/B testing
