Agave is looking for a sharp, semi-technical Product Analyst / Product Operations Analyst with 0โ€“2 years of experience to become a deep product expert and help us scale.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who enjoys diving into API documentation, understanding technical edge cases, writing clear product specifications, testing product behavior, and helping engineering teams ship high-quality products faster.

You will work directly with the co-founder/CEO and closely with Technical PMs, Solutions Engineers, and Engineering. This role is a strong stepping stone toward a Product Manager position.

About Agave

Agave is modernizing construction โ€” a $12T global industry that still relies on fragmented, outdated software systems that often do not communicate with each other.

We build APIs that connect construction software, ERPs, field tools, and accounting platforms, helping contractors automate workflows, save time, and reduce manual work.

Agave has been profitable for over 2 years, has millions in recurring revenue, multi-year contracts, and is backed by Accel, YC, and executives from Procore, Autodesk, and PlanGrid. The company is growing around 10% month-over-month.

What you will do

  • Become a deep expert on the systems Agave integrates with, including ERPs, field tools, accounting platforms, and other construction software.
  • Read and analyze API documentation to understand integration behavior, limitations, edge cases, and implementation details.
  • Write precise, engineer-ready specifications for new features, product improvements, and bug fixes.
  • Design and execute detailed test plans before features are released.
  • Test APIs, workflows, edge cases, and integration behavior using tools like Postman, SQL, and internal systems.
  • Review customer call recordings, support tickets, onboarding notes, and customer feedback to identify pain points.
  • Translate customer and internal feedback into clear product requirements and actionable specs.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation for integration behavior, known edge cases, testing frameworks, and QA processes.
  • Help Technical PMs and Solutions Engineers move faster by owning product research, QA, and documentation work.
