Every dollar of paid spend, every funnel, and every team workflow is supported by technology we build, connect, or optimize in-house. This role will own that function and help shape the next stage of Seranova’s technical infrastructure.

About Seranova

Seranova Beauty is a 9-figure D2C brand that operates with a lean, hands-on model. We build in-house where it gives us more speed, more flexibility, stronger control, or better economics than a SaaS alternative.

We value practical, reliable systems that help teams move faster and work better. Our goal is not to build for the sake of building, but to create tools and infrastructure that genuinely support the business.

The Opportunity

Today, our tech function covers a broad scope: internal AI tooling, customer-facing funnel code, tracking and attribution infrastructure, MarTech, data engineering, and internal productivity systems.

As Seranova continues to grow, we want to make this function more scalable, well-documented, and resilient. We’re looking for a technical owner who can run the function today while also building the structure, documentation, and team capacity needed for the future.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys working close to the business, understands both code and cost, and wants to build practical systems that have a direct impact on growth, operations, and team productivity.

What You’ll Own

Internal Tooling & AI

  • Build internal AI customer support tooling together with the Head of Customer Support, focused on deflection, agent assist, and measurable efficiency gains.
  • Build internal AI admin dashboards with department heads using tools such as Supabase, Vercel, GitHub, and Claude integrations.
  • Help teams replace expensive or inefficient SaaS tools where an internal solution would be faster, more flexible, or more cost-effective.
  • Own our internal funnel and landing page hosting tools, including the path toward an internal page builder for quiz funnels.
  • Reduce reliance on external tools such as Replo, Heyflow, and Unbounce where it makes business sense.
  • Build AI-assisted development workflows using Claude Code or similar tools as a productivity accelerator.
  • Help the team learn how to work with AI context effectively and safely.
  • Own AI context management across the organization, creating a clear source of truth that teams can build from.

Customer-Facing Engineering

  • Own code quality across key funnel surfaces, including offer pages, quiz pages, and CheckoutChamp code.
  • Own Core Web Vitals, page speed, and performance optimization end to end.
  • Maintain tracking and pixel integrity through every page change.
  • QA attribution and server-side events regularly, and build processes that help detect issues early.
  • Own uptime and reliability for customer-facing code paths.
  • Build safeguards that help prevent funnel issues before they affect customers or media performance.

Creative & AI Workflows

  • Build marketing creation workflows in partnership with the Creative team, including copy tooling, AI video generation, and AI image generation on request.
  • Own Shopify custom workflows and tagging logic, including automated tagging and attribution structures for better warehouse and operational visibility.
  • Run regular funnel tech QA to identify broken flows, tracking issues, or technical friction.
  • Build guardrails and repeatable processes that reduce the chance of the same issues happening again.
  • Handle complex technical implementations beyond core funnel work, including the internal customer portal.

Data, Tracking & MarTech

  • Own the analytics and reporting layer, including dashboards, MCP-connected artifacts, and a single source of truth for key business metrics.
  • Own data infrastructure and engineering across tools such as Supabase, BigQuery, and Iris replication.
  • Manage the MarTech stack end to end, including Klaviyo, CheckoutChamp, Shopify connectors, integrations, configuration, and developer SOPs.
  • Own tracking infrastructure across Voluum, Triple Whale, Google Analytics, and related attribution tools.
  • Support multi-touch attribution modeling using first-party data.
  • Ensure model integrity and reliable data pipelines across the systems that feed business reporting.

Operations & Reliability

  • Own uptime, monitoring, and incident response for internally built tools and customer-facing technical paths.
  • Manage infrastructure and vendor costs, including hosting, API usage, and AI token spend.
  • Identify tools or subscriptions that may no longer be needed or that could be replaced with a better internal solution.
  • Build systems that allow the company to draw from one core knowledge base as a shared source of truth for marketing research, internal tools, and operational workflows.

People & Team Building

  • Train non-technical team members to use AI tools safely and effectively.
  • Build a workflow and agent library that teams can use for repeatable tasks.
  • Own technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture documentation.
  • Reduce dependency on individual knowledge by creating clear, accessible documentation and repeatable processes.
  • Manage development resourcing and work planning.
  • Help grow the function from a highly centralized setup into a more scalable team structure.

Who You Are

  • You have built or owned a technical function end to end in a lean, fast-moving company.
  • You are comfortable working across business needs, infrastructure, internal tooling, data, and customer-facing code.
  • You are familiar with tools such as Supabase, BigQuery, Vercel, Shopify, and AI-assisted development workflows such as Claude Code or similar.
  • You understand tracking and attribution deeply, including server-side events, pixel integrity, multi-touch modeling, and the common ways these systems can break.
  • You make thoughtful build-vs-buy decisions and understand when an internal solution can create more speed, control, or cost efficiency.
  • You think proactively about documentation, knowledge sharing, and reducing operational dependency on any single person.
  • You can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical teammates.
  • You enjoy building tools that are practical, reliable, and directly useful to the business.

You’ll Thrive Here If

  • You enjoy building internal tools that solve real operational problems.
  • You care about reliable funnels, clean tracking, and data that teams can trust.
  • You like working close to marketing, operations, customer support, and leadership.
  • You want to build not only systems, but also the team, documentation, and workflows around them.
  • You think in both code and cost, and understand that every build has an infrastructure, maintenance, and business impact attached to it.
  • You are comfortable in a high-ownership environment where priorities move quickly and practical execution matters.

Our Culture

  • Ownership: we value people who take initiative, follow through, and raise the standard.
  • High standards and speed: we move quickly, but we care about quality and reliability.
  • Clear communication: we work best when decisions, trade-offs, and constraints are visible.
  • Practical systems thinking: the best solution is the one that works, scales, and supports the business.
  • Build over buy when it makes sense: every tool should earn its place through value, efficiency, or leverage.

What We Offer

  • Ownership of Seranova’s technical function and the opportunity to shape how it evolves.
  • Direct visibility into technical spend, infrastructure costs, and business impact.
  • A clear mandate to make the tech function more scalable through systems, documentation, resourcing, and future hiring.
  • Competitive base compensation plus performance incentives tied to reliability, cost savings, and team productivity gains.
  • Remote-first, outcome-based work focused on business impact and system performance.
  • A role with direct influence across marketing, operations, customer support, data, and leadership.

If you have ever looked at a stack of expensive SaaS tools and thought, “I know how to build this better, leaner, and more useful in-house,” we’d like to hear from you.
