About the Product:

We are working with an AI-native performance marketing platform focused on producing and scaling paid social and affiliate creatives across competitive and regulated markets.

The platform covers the full creative lifecycle: from brief analysis and audience research to concept generation, AI-assisted production, media buying, performance tracking, and continuous creative optimization. It helps teams create and test UGC-style videos, short-form ads, and motion creatives faster, while feeding real campaign data back into the production process.

The product supports over $100M in annual managed ad spend and is used across several verticals, including health and wellness, e-commerce, finance, mobile apps, and digital services. Since many of these areas are regulated, the team also works with strict requirements around brand compliance, privacy, and messaging accuracy.
 

About the Role:

As a Performance Motion Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-volume video and motion creatives for performance campaigns. You will work closely with creative strategists and media buyers to turn briefs, audience insights, and campaign results into engaging short-form assets for modern paid social channels.

The main focus of the role is not only to make visually strong videos, but to create creatives that perform. Success will be measured through metrics such as hook rate, retention, CTR, and conversion. You will test ideas quickly, analyze what works, iterate on winning concepts, and build multiple creative variations in fast feedback cycles.

This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working independently, actively uses AI tools in production, follows new creative technologies, and enjoys combining motion design, editing, performance marketing, and data-driven experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Create high-volume video and motion assets for paid social campaigns, including UGC-style ads, short-form videos, advertorials, and native content.
  • Develop strong hooks and clear value delivery within the first 1โ€“3 seconds of each video.
  • Optimize creatives for sound-off viewing and fast-scrolling social media environments.
  • Prepare assets in different formats and placements, including 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9.
  • Use AI tools and internal production workflows for video, image, voice/audio generation, and editing.
  • Turn successful concepts into multiple creative variations and quickly adjust underperforming ideas.
  • Edit and animate 2D elements, characters, graphics, and motion components to support the message and pacing.
  • Apply strong composition, pacing, storytelling, and cinematic principles to improve retention and emotional impact.
  • Collaborate with creative strategists and media buyers to translate briefs and performance insights into better-performing assets.
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and compliance across different brands, clients, and regulated verticals.

Required Competence and Skills:
 

  • 4+ years of experience in video editing or motion design, preferably in performance marketing, paid social, DTC, or similar environments.
  • Strong practical experience with AI creative tools, including:
    • video generation tools such as Runway, Kling, Sora, Higgsfield, Veo, or similar;
    • image generation tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, Seedream, or similar;
    • voice/audio tools such as ElevenLabs;
    • AI-assisted editing tools such as CapCut, Descript, Adobe Firefly, or similar.
       
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration.
  • Performance-oriented creative mindset, with focus on hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and conversion rather than only visual polish.
  • Good understanding of what performs well on Meta, TikTok, and other short-form paid social platforms.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, test new workflows, and integrate them into daily production.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment with frequent feedback.
     

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with 3D animation or modeling.
  • Experience creating ads for regulated verticals such as telehealth, wellness, or finance.
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing, performance networks, or media buying principles.
