Community Manager
We are currently looking for a Community Manager to join the team of an international company: a language-learning platform that helps people learn languages by watching real TV shows and films. You will build and grow online communities across multiple platforms (Discord, App Stores, Trustpilot, Reddit, Meta, and more), engage with users daily, manage the brand's reputation, and turn feedback into product and marketing insights.
🟠 Requirements
- 2-3+ years in community management, social media, or a related role
- Exceptional written English with a natural, witty, human voice
- Hands-on experience running online communities (especially Discord)
- A genuine love for TV, film, and language learning
- Experience planning and running community events
- Comfort with data, metrics, and reporting
🟠 Your Mission is:
To build a community where people come for language learning through shows and culture — and stay because the Lingopie product becomes part of how they connect, learn, and belong.
You are the connector between Lingopie and the amazing people who choose Lingopie (or will do it soon with your help). Your job is to build and nurture a vibrant, fun, and human community where bingers, cinephiles, and language learners feel seen, connected, and supported.
You are the voice of Lingopie in public conversations — entertainment-first, empathetic, witty, and never robotic. You initiate and nurture meaningful conversations with genuine interest in people and what they care about, and you’re there when they want to talk to us.
You design and run engaging activities (beta-tests, speaking clubs, games, AMAs, watch parties) that help users connect with each other — not just with the brand. Over time, you help the community take ownership, form bonds, and create shared experiences.
Simultaneously, you are our first line of defense: protecting Lingopie’s reputation on review sites and social platforms by turning frustrated users into fans through radical empathy and “Netflix-style” cool.
At the highest level, your mission is to build a community where members don’t just consume — they participate and contribute.
Where users don’t just consume content — they create value for each other, organize themselves, share time together, help one another learn, and feel part of something bigger than an app. You enable connections, spark interactions, and help the community become self-sustaining and alive.
