Delivery Manager

Olive Systems is a software development and data engineering company working with international clients on custom software, AI, automation, and large-scale web data projects.
We are currently scaling a dedicated web data / scraping delivery operation for high-volume AI and data projects. Our teams build and maintain scrapers, collectors, and structured data pipelines for clients that need reliable web data at scale.
 

We are looking for a hands-on Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager who can help us manage delivery, coordinate developers, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
 

• Remote position.

Role Overview
This is a practical, execution-focused role.
You will not just manage tickets. You will own delivery flow across multiple scraping/data projects: clarify requirements, coordinate developers and team leads, track progress, manage blockers, keep stakeholders updated, and make sure outputs are delivered according to the agreed schema and timeline.
You do not need to be a senior developer, but you must be technical enough to understand web data projects, APIs, JSON, HTML structure, scraping challenges, QA issues, and data validation.
 

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of web scraping and data collection projects.
• Coordinate scraper developers, tech leads, QA/data validation, and client-facing stakeholders.
• Translate project requirements into clear tasks for the development team.
• Track progress, priorities, blockers, risks, and delivery dates.
• Ensure that tasks are properly prepared before developers start work.
• Make sure completed work passes internal validation before delivery.
• Maintain clear status updates in project management tools such as Monday, ClickUp, Jira, Linear, or similar.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in clear English.
• Escalate blockers early and suggest practical solutions.
• Help improve delivery processes, QA checklists, onboarding flows, and reporting.
• Support capacity planning as the team scales.
• Work closely with technical leads to balance speed, quality, and delivery commitments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, Product Operations Manager, QA Lead, Support Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with technical teams and understand technical discussions.
• Basic understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS selectors, JavaScript, APIs, JSON, HTTP requests, browser behavior.
• Experience managing multiple tasks/projects in parallel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent delivery timelines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
• Strong ownership mindset: you follow through until the work is delivered.
• Ability to communicate clearly, directly, and professionally.

• Availability to work US hours or significant overlap with US business hours.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with web scraping, data extraction, data pipelines, or web automation.
• Experience with Bright Data, Apify, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, Scrapy, or similar tools.
• Experience working with distributed teams in Eastern Europe, LATAM, or globally.
• Experience in AI data projects, datasets, data enrichment, or market intelligence.
• QA or data validation background.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience working with high-volume operational delivery.

What Success Looks Like
After the first 30–60 days, you should be able to:

• Understand our delivery process and main project types.
• Independently manage a pipeline of scraping/data tasks.
• Keep developers and leads aligned on priorities.
• Provide clear daily/weekly status updates.
• Identify delivery risks before they become urgent problems.
• Reduce ping-pong between development and QA/client teams.
• Help the team deliver faster without sacrificing quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is not a theoretical project manager. We need someone practical, structured, calm under pressure, and comfortable working close to the technical team.
You should be able to speak with a client or stakeholder, understand what they need, clarify missing details, turn that into clear tasks, follow up with developers, check delivery status, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
