Integration Manager (Payments)
We are looking for an experienced Integration Manager to lead payment integrations and coordinate projects involving payment providers, acquiring banks, and card payment processing systems.
This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, and technology and requires strong stakeholder management, integration delivery experience, and a solid understanding of the payments ecosystem.
You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of integrations โ from requirements gathering and planning through testing, production launch, and post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end integrations with PSPs, acquiring banks, payment gateways, and other payment partners.
- Coordinate integration projects from requirements gathering through production launch and post-release support.
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external payment partners.
- Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate development, QA, and operational teams during implementation and rollout.
- Track project timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Support testing activities, UAT, certification processes, and production releases.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams.
- Participate in issue investigation, payment incident resolution, and post-launch monitoring.
- Maintain project documentation, integration specifications, and implementation plans.
- Ensure successful delivery while balancing business priorities and technical constraints.
Required Qualifications
Key Requirement
Hands-on experience working with Visa, Mastercard, acquiring banks, PSP integrations, or card payment processing systems is mandatory.
Candidates should have practical experience participating in projects involving:
- Visa and/or Mastercard
- Acquiring banks
- Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
- Payment gateways
- Card payment processing
- Merchant acquiring solutions
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking, Financial Services, or related industries.
- Experience managing integration or implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of the card payment lifecycle:
- Authorization
- Capture
- Settlement
- Reconciliation
- Chargebacks
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
Nice to Have
- Experience with payment orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS requirements.
- Experience with 3DS / 3DS2.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 and/or ISO 20022.
- Experience in iGaming, FinTech, Banking, or eCommerce.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Postman, and SQL.
- Product Management or Business Analysis experience.
- Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders.
