We are looking for an Email Automation & Deliverability Specialist to make email a reliable channel for user activation, retention, and revenue. You will own deliverability, automated flows, segmentation, and day-to-day email performance across the customer lifecycle. This role exists to make sure our emails reach the inbox, arrive at the right moment, and help users take the next meaningful step.

Role overview
We are looking for an Email Automation & Deliverability Specialist to make email a reliable channel for user activation, retention, and revenue. You will own deliverability, automated flows, segmentation, and day-to-day email performance across the customer lifecycle. This role exists to make sure our emails reach the inbox, arrive at the right moment, and help users take the next meaningful step.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and optimize automated email flows for onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, and transactional communication
- Own email deliverability across domains, senders, and campaigns, including inbox placement, sender reputation, bounce rates, spam complaints, and blacklist risks
- Identify key user actions and design trigger-based journeys that send the right message at the right moment
- Segment users by behavior, lifecycle stage, engagement, and business value to improve relevance and performance
- Create and manage email content, structure, logic, and testing inside email automation tools
- Analyze email performance daily and use data to improve open rates, CTR, conversions, retention, and revenue impact
- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to connect email automation with user behavior, product events, and company goals
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, automation, or deliverability
- Strong hands-on experience building trigger-based and automated email campaigns
- Deep understanding of email deliverability fundamentals, including sender reputation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain health, bounce rates, and spam complaints
- Experience with ESPs and automation platforms such as SendPulse, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Customer.io, ActiveCampaign, or similar tools
- Ability to read email performance metrics and turn insights into clear improvements
- Experience with user segmentation based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and engagement
- Strong ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
- English level B2/C1 or higher, with the ability to write, edit, and collaborate in English day to day
- Experience in SaaS, B2B, marketplace, real estate, or startup environments
- Experience managing large contact databases and multi-segment communication strategies
- Familiarity with chatbot flows, SMS, or multi-channel automation
- Technical experience with email infrastructure, domain setup, warm-up strategies, and deliverability tools
- Experience improving deliverability after reputation, spam placement, or performance issues
