Application Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Application Solution Architect to join our team and lead the architectural design and delivery of complex software applications for one of Europe's largest independent IT groups.

Project: You will be working with one of Europe's largest independent IT groups, operating across 65+ locations in the UK, France, Romania, Spain, and Vietnam. As part of the Digital Cloud team, you will shape software architecture strategies and solutions that support global businesses and public sector organizations in achieving operational efficiency, agility, and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of software applications, ensuring alignment with business and customer goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Oversee the development of application solutions and ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards
• Mentor and guide development team members, providing technical direction throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, and reliable
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation

• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and governance standards

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or a senior engineering role
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex, scalable application solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern application architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first)
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical design
• Solid knowledge of software development best practices, governance, and quality standards
• Experience producing and maintaining architectural documentation (HLD, LLD)
• Strong mentoring and team leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills — ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
