Senior System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our Microsoft ecosystem, cloud infrastructure, security services, and end-user technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure infrastructure, identity management solutions, and endpoint security services. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment while driving automation and continuous improvements across IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Identity Management

• Administer and support Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.
• Manage identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, and ADFS.
• Maintain hybrid identity environments and ensure secure access management across systems.

Microsoft 365 & Business Applications

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, and licensing.
• Support and maintain Dynamics 365 environments, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Govern and manage Power Platform environments, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

Cloud & Virtualization

• Manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and core cloud services.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize virtualized environments using Hyper-V.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability across on-premises and cloud environments.

Security & Compliance

• Monitor and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, or similar EDR/XDR solutions.
• Manage endpoint protection, security policies, and access controls.
• Support security best practices and compliance initiatives across the organization.

Automation & Database Administration

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
• Perform SQL Server administration activities, including backup/restore operations and T-SQL scripting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization.

IT Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, cloud services, business applications, and end-user environments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable IT services.
• Manage user access, permissions, and environment provisioning across systems and platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience with Group Policy, ADFS, and hybrid identity environments.
• Solid Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Licensing).
• Experience supporting Dynamics 365 environments, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall administration.
• Experience with endpoint security platforms such as Microsoft Defender or SentinelOne.
• SQL Server administration experience, including backup/restore procedures and T-SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform administration.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT Administration or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft environments.
• Experience managing user access and permissions across multiple systems.
• Background in software development or engineering is considered an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Dynamics 365 implementation or consulting environments.
• Experience supporting DevOps processes and access governance.
• Exposure to enterprise ERP ecosystems and business applications.

• AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
• MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator
• Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform certifications
