3D Artist
We are looking for a 3D Character Artist and Environment Artist to join our project and help create high-quality, game-ready assets for Unreal Engine.
The ideal candidate has proven experience creating optimized characters and environments that meet modern AAA production standards while maintaining excellent real-time performance.
๐ฏ Responsibilities
Character Art
- Create high-quality, game-ready 3D characters from concept to final asset
- Model, sculpt, retopologize, UV, texture, and optimize characters
- Produce clean topology suitable for animation and gameplay
- Create PBR materials and textures
- Ensure assets are optimized for real-time performance
Environment Art
- Design and build visually appealing, optimized Unreal Engine environments
- Create modular environment assets and props
- Develop high-quality materials and shaders
- Optimize scenes to maintain stable performance targets
- Follow industry best practices for level composition, asset organization, and environment production

- Strong experience with Unreal Engine
- Proven portfolio showcasing:
- Game-ready characters
- Real-time environments
- PBR workflows
- Expert knowledge of:
- Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
- ZBrush
- Substance Painter / Designer
- Unreal Engine asset pipeline
- Strong understanding of:
- Topology
- UV mapping
- Baking workflows
- LOD creation
- Material optimization
- Texture optimization
โก Performance Requirements
- Create assets optimized for real-time gameplay
- Ability to build environments that consistently target 60 FPS
- Understanding of:
- Draw calls
- Nanite workflows
- LOD systems
- Occlusion culling
- Memory budgets
- Texture streaming
- Performance profiling in Unreal Engine
๐ Environment Standards
Candidates should be familiar with modern AAA environment production practices, including:
- Modular environment creation
- World-building workflows
- Lighting and composition
- Material optimization
- Performance-first level design
- Scalable asset pipelines

- Experience with Unreal Engine PCG (Procedural Content Generation)
- Experience with World Partition
- Experience with foliage systems and large environments
- Experience working on PC or console games
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 workflows
