Senior Full Stack Engineer (Web3 Security)

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing Web3 security startup building real-time risk detection and threat prevention infrastructure for blockchain ecosystems. The platform processes billions of blockchain events across multiple chains, using big data, AI, and advanced monitoring systems to prevent exploits before they happen. This is a high-impact R&D role in the Herzliya office, focused on owning full product flows end-to-end across backend and frontend systems.

Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

Own major features end-to-end (backend + frontend)

Contribute to system architecture and long-term product vision

Work closely with Product and Design

Help shape engineering standards in an early-stage product environment

Build scalable, high-performance systems handling real-time blockchain data

The first hire is especially critical — expectations go beyond simply matching the JD.

Key Responsibilities

Develop backend services using Node.js (NestJS) and/or Python

Build high-quality frontend components using React

Architect and maintain scalable systems processing blockchain data

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment workflows

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design

Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code

Use AI tools productively to improve development velocity

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

6+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and React

Strong React expertise (deep knowledge expected)

Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

Strong Git workflow proficiency

Excellent English communication

Strong technical depth — able to go deep in architecture discussions

Independent problem solver with “can-do-everything” mindset

Very Important - Previous Web3 / blockchain experience (highly valued, especially for the first hire)

Experience working with smart contracts, on-chain data, indexing, or blockchain event monitoring

Comfort working in startup environments

Nice to Have

Experience with Python

Experience working closely with Product and Design

Experience in fast-scaling startups

Practical use of AI development tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.)
