Shopify Developer

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Shopify’s platform, custom theme development, app integrations, and performance optimization. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless eCommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
• Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement custom features, functionalities, and third-party app integrations
• Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and conversion rates
• Troubleshoot and debug store issues across browsers and devices
• Ensure best practices for SEO, accessibility, and security
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional storefronts
• Maintain documentation and follow version control standards

• Support store launches, migrations, and ongoing enhancements

   

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar eCommerce role
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and working with Shopify APIs
• Familiarity with third-party Shopify apps and custom app development
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce
• Experience with Git or other version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Familiarity with React, Vue, or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of performance optimization and CRO strategies
• Experience with headless commerce or custom storefronts
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
