Account Manager (AdTech/SmartyAds)
SmartyAds is a product IT company in the AdTech industry.
They specialize in programmatic advertising and develop their own ecosystem of products: SSP, DSP, and AdExchange. The platform is connected to more than 200 SSPs and DSPs worldwide.
Their largest and most established product is AdExchange. DSP is currently growing very fast and has become a real rising star for us. SSP is currently the smallest direction, but they are now actively relaunching and scaling it.
They are a relatively small but very dynamic company with around 50 people on the team. Most of the team is Ukrainian, though they already have some international colleagues as well (for example, Ramiro from Latin America).
All products are proprietary in-house developments. The company works exclusively with mainstream traffic and operate in white hat niches globally: USA, LATAM, Europe, and other markets.
They are looking for a strong, autonomous, and driven Account Manager to reinforce their team, help balance the workload, and elevate client relations to the next level. They need a natural communicator who loves proactive connection, knows how to find common ground with partners worldwide, and is ready to directly impact business results through excellent account performance.
What youโll be doing:
- manage a portfolio of active DSP and SSP partners. Your focus will be on proactively developing cooperation, spotting upsell opportunities, and driving budget growth โ not just maintaining contact;
- deep dive into key platform metrics, find growth areas, and implement optimizations on the fly;
- handle Excel analytics and manage traffic or billing discrepancies like a pro;
- take care of technical setups for new integrations, configure endpoints, and handle the initial triage/escalation of tech issues.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years in Account Management or Customer Success within an AdTech company, with direct experience handling both DSP and SSP partners;
- a solid practical understanding of the OpenRTB protocol (bid request/response structure, auction mechanics, and key objects: device, app, site, imp);
- a genuine passion for numbers: you can independently interpret platform data and spot drops, spikes, and their root causes using Excel/Google Sheets;
- upper-Intermediate English or higher (most of our communication is in English);
- high autonomy (we hate micro-management), strong organizational skills for a large portfolio, and a clear orientation toward results. We are looking for an established specialist, not a junior.
Nice to have:
- hands-on experience with ad server admin panels e.g., Springserve, Magnite, Xandr) or proprietary SSP/DSP platforms;
- familiarity with privacy frameworks (GDPR/TCF, GPP, COPPA, LMT/DNT signals);
- knowledge of specific programmatic formats (Video, CTV, or Mobile);
- experience with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) and traffic quality verification tools (Pixalate, Human, DV, etc.).
