We are a fast-growing iGaming startup operating in Tier-1 European markets. We are seeking a Retention Bonus Team Lead with a powerhouse mathematical background. In this role, you will own the financial logic behind our player retention ecosystem, ensuring all bonus campaigns, loyalty programs, and promos are mathematically flawless, highly rewarding for players, and secure for the business.
๐ Key Responsibilities:
- Bonus Architecture & Modeling: Design, simulate, and stress-test complex mathematical models for loyalty programs, VIP structures, cashbacks, and tournaments.
- Financial Control & ROI: Own the analysis of core metrics (Bonus Cost, Take-Up Rate, GGR/NGR, ROI) and ensure accurate reconciliation with the Finance team.
- Risk & Fraud Mitigation: Define rules, caps, and wagering requirements to eliminate system loopholes and block bonus-hunting/abuse strategies.
- Process Leadership: Streamline how bonus campaigns are evaluated, approved, and launched, acting as the main bridge between Marketing, Retention, and Finance.
- Strategy & Scaling: Drive data-driven optimization of current retention campaigns and prepare to build/lead a dedicated bonus analytics team as the startup grows.
๐ป Requirements:
- iGaming Expertise: 2+ years of experience in iGaming (CRM, Bonus, Risk, or Financial Analytics) with a deep understanding of industry mechanics (Sticky vs. Raw bonuses, wagering, free spins).
- Advanced Mathematics: Strong background in probability theory, mathematical statistics, and financial modeling.
- Technical Stack: Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets; strong working knowledge of SQL to independently query and manipulate data.
- Leadership Potential: A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to guard financial boundaries and eventually mentor/lead others.
- Analytical Precision: Exceptional eye for detail - able to spot potential mathematical risks in promo setups before they launch.
