California Home Company, Inc. is a Sacramento-based residential design-build firm specializing in modern single-family and duplex homes throughout California. Due to increased project volume, we are seeking a motivated Architectural Designer with strong Revit experience to join our remote team.

What You’ll Do

- Produce architectural drawings in Revit from concept through permit
- Work on single-family and duplex residential projects
- Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
- Assist with permit submittals and plan check responses
- Coordinate drawings with senior architects and consultants
- Implement redlines, revisions, and documentation updates

Requirements

- 2–4 years of professional Revit experience (required)
- Minimum 3 completed architectural projects (portfolio required)
- Ability to read and write in English
- Experience producing permit-level residential drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn U.S. residential codes (training provided)

Software

- Revit (required)
- AutoCAD (some experience)
- Adobe tools for markups only
- No rendering software required

Compensation & Growth

- USD $800–$1,200 per month, based on experience
- Paid overtime as needed basis
- Raises and promotions as skills progress
