Customer Research / Deep Interview Specialist (Project, 1–2 months)
We are looking for a Customer Research specialist to run deep user interviews and help us understand real user behavior behind product adoption.
🎯 Goal:
Turn 33,000 app downloads into actionable insights through structured customer conversations and deep qualitative research.
Our app has already been downloaded by ~33,000 users, but we need to go beyond analytics and understand:
- why users downloaded the app
- what they expected
what actually happened after onboarding
🧠 Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound deep user interviews (phone calls)
- Ask structured discovery questions (e.g. motivation, expectations, drop-off reasons)
- Speak with ~100 users (qualitative research sample)
- Identify key patterns, user needs, and behavioral insights
- Summarize findings into clear product recommendations
Present initial insights after ~10 interviews, then scale research
📊 Format:
- Project-based role (not full-time)
- Duration: 1–2 months
- One-time research sprint: insights → report → recommendations
No long-term operational responsibilities
👤 Ideal candidate:
- Experience in UX research / customer development / qualitative interviews
- Strong communication and interviewing skills
- Ability to structure large qualitative datasets into insights
- Experience in fintech / mobile apps is a plus

💰 Compensation:
Budget is flexible and open to discussion based on candidate expectations and experience, as this is our first time hiring for this type of role.
