Job Description

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing low-code applications that support on-site service activities across various industries. You will collaborate with architects, subject matter experts, and product owners to deliver scalable and efficient solutions using the Mendix platform.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement technical solutions based on Functional and Technical Design Documents (FDD & TDD).
• Develop low-level technical solutions using Mendix.
• Estimate development effort for specific functionalities.
• Automate testing of user cases where applicable.
• Ensure performance and stability improvements through architectural design.
• Document solutions and define test cases for each sprint.
• Mentor junior developers and testers during the development lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce best practices to optimize development and testing efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, IT, and data analysts.
• Engage with product owners and SMEs to understand service requirements.

• Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning.

   

Job Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience, with at least 1–2 years in Mendix or similar low-code platforms (OutSystems, AppSheet, Power Apps).
• Advanced certification in Mendix or another low-code platform is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with server-side programming and JavaScript (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira or Rally.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and distributed computing.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, Spanish, French, German) are a plus.

Department/Project Description

We are looking for a Mendix Developer who can join our team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. The main task will be working on a vendor-agnostic network infrastructure monitoring platform that provides real-time visibility into network infrastructure equipment performance. It monitors the equipment installed in data centers, stadiums, factories, supermarkets, warehouses etc.
