The Role

As a Middle Motion Designer, you will be at the intersection of traditional video editing and next-generation AI-assisted content creation. You will work with footage our team has already captured, elevate it with motion graphics and editing, and produce new content using AI video generation tools.

Your work will support product launches, social media campaigns, sales enablement, employer branding, and more. You will collaborate with marketing, sales and R&D teams to maintain a consistent, polished visual identity across every touchpoint.

This is not a junior role. We expect autonomy, creative opinions, and delivery without hand-holding. At the same time, we want someone still energized by execution and craft - not a director-level strategist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and refine existing footage - Cut, sequence, colour-grade, and polish video materials into final assets
  • Create motion graphics and animations - Design titles, lower thirds, infographic sequences, transitions, and branded elements
  • Develop AI-generated video content - Use AI video tools to produce new scenes, product visualisations, and concept-driven videos
  • Adapt content across formats and channels - Resize and reformat assets for LinkedIn, YouTube, landing pages, sales decks, brochures and events
  • Maintain visual consistency - Uphold brand guidelines to ensure every asset looks unmistakably TEKTELIC
  • Manage the content pipeline - Manage multiple projects, communicate progress, and flag issues early

Required Skills

  • Motion design & animation - solid command of timing, easing, and visual storytelling through movement
  • Video editing - proficient in cutting and structuring footage into coherent, engaging narratives
  • Adobe Creative Suite - strong working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro; Photoshop and Illustrator as needed
  • Typography and composition - an eye for layout, hierarchy, and how text and imagery work together in motion
  • AI video tools - hands-on experience with at least one AI video generation platform (e.g. Artlist, HeyGen, Sora, or similar)
  • Organised and communicative - you manage your own time and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • 3D animation experience - Maxon, Cinema 4D, or similar
  • After Effects expressions or scripting for workflow automation
  • Figma experience for design handoffs and collaboration
  • Sound design or basic audio mixing skills
  • Familiarity with IoT, tech, or B2B SaaS and the ability to visualise complex technical concepts
  • Experience with Midjourney or other generative image tools for storyboarding and asset creation
  • Knowledge of colour science, LUTs, and professional colour grading workflows

Ideal Candidate Profile

You have 2-4 years of professional motion design experience - enough to work independently and make confident creative decisions, but you are still in a growth mindset.

You understand that great motion design is not just technical skill - it is knowing when to move fast and when to sweat the details. You can take a rough brief, ask the right clarifying questions, and deliver something that meets expectations.

You follow developments in AI video tools not because you have to, but because you are genuinely curious about what is possible.

Portfolio Requirements

Please share a portfolio that includes:

  • At least 2-3 motion graphics or animated video projects demonstrating your editing, design, and animation skills
  • At least 1 example of AI-assisted or AI-generated video content - briefly describe your role and the tools used
  • A range of formats if available - e.g. social clips, explainer videos, product demos, or branded content
  • Context on your contribution - we want to understand what you owned vs. what was collaborative

What We Offer

  • A role with real creative scope - your work will be seen by prospects, customers, and partners globally
  • Collaboration with a knowledgeable, fast-moving marketing team that values creative input
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI video tools and the opportunity to shape how we use them
  • A stable, product-led company with over a decade of history and a growing global footprint
  • Flexible working arrangements and a team culture built on trust and autonomy
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
