- Hands-on experience with merchant onboarding and acquiring banks.
- Background in roles such as Onboarding Manager, Merchant Operations, Account Manager, or Compliance Coordinator.
Core Knowledge
- KYC/AML, UBO, and Source of Funds.
- Corporate documents: Certificate of Incorporation, Shareholder Register, Board Resolutions.
- Commercial documents: Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy.
- Understanding of acquirer and card scheme requirements.
Key Skills
- Ability to review documents substantively, not just against a checklist.
- Managing multiple onboarding pipelines simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and SLA management.
- Clear communication with merchants, banks, compliance, and legal teams.
Personal Qualities
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Proactive and persistent.
- Results-driven.
Language
- Fluent English (C1โC2).
Nice to Have
- Experience with PSPs, acquirers, EMIs, or crypto payments.
- Exposure to high-risk industries such as crypto, forex, or gaming.
