Senior AI-Native Product Designer
CreditBooster.ai is a pre-seed startup from the USA (Chicago) building an AI-native iOS app for improving credit history.
- MVP already launched
- First paying users on board
- Now in an active scaling phase (goal: 10-20x growth)
- Engineering team is remote (Ukraine)
- Founder with 20+ years of experience in the credit business
👉 This is an early stage where you genuinely shape the product, the architecture, and the technical decisions.
About the design role
You'll work closely with the founder, the product manager, and two engineers. You'll often design around AI capabilities that are emerging in real time:
- An AI that writes letters to the credit bureaus to fix errors on the user's credit report
- An AI credit mentor the user can chat with
- A recommendation engine that picks financial products based on the user's full credit profile
That means staying close to the models, prototyping fast, and being comfortable with ambiguity.
We care deeply about quality and the details that make a product feel reliable and polished. At the same time, we ship fast and learn as we go. We'd rather get something in front of users than wait for perfection.
The role is fully remote, open to candidates in North America, Europe, or compatible time zones, with a Chicago overlap (10:00-14:00 CT, or 18:00-22:00 Kyiv) for meetings.
Responsibilities
- Lead design end to end: the iOS app (Android planned), the marketing site, the admin panel, and the brand, including our character Boost
- Work in tight partnership with engineers and the founder, with no hand-offs
- Set the design quality bar and continuously improve flows and the product
- Design complex flows: dispute flow, KYC, paywalls, marketplace
- Build and grow the Figma design system, including custom plugins
- Use AI tools (Claude, image-gen, agents) to streamline design ops
- Help build out the design team
Examples of what you'll work on
- Credit-report corrections: a complex, multi-step process with letters, statuses, and documents
- Marketplace: AI-driven financial-product recommendations
- Onboarding and growth: App Store pages, in-app flows
- Brand: evolving our character Boost
- Design system: maintaining and extending the component library
Who we're looking for
- You're AI-native in how you work (you use Claude or equivalents every day)
- You follow where AI models are heading and know how to apply them
- You work fast, ship, and test
- You're eager to rethink classic personal-finance UI
- You hold the balance between speed and quality
Requirements
- 5+ years in product design
- Mobile experience (iOS preferred)
- A strong portfolio with complex flows
- Experience with design systems
- Startup experience is a plus
- English B2 or higher
