Requirements:

— 2 - 3 years in Web3 community, content, or DevRel-adjacent roles (not pure marketing
or growth-hacking outside crypto);
— Native presence and credibility in at least one major Web3 community channel;
(Telegram or Discord) with named relationships, not generic "I am in the scene" claims
— Strong written English with a track record of published content: at least 10 articles,
threads, or long-form posts with traction metrics attached;
— Solid conceptual understanding of DeFi primitives at the level of "what each does, why it
matters, common patterns": AMMs, lending markets, oracles, bridges, perpetuals,
stablecoins. Does not need to write Solidity;
— Crypto-native fluency: holds a wallet, has used DeFi protocols personally, can verify a
contract on a block explorer, understands gas, has interacted with at least 3 different
chains;
— Hands-on with online presence: active personal account on X and at least one of
Telegram, Discord, Farcaster. Comfortable cold-DMing builders without senior
babysitting;
— Self-driven on relationship-building and pipeline discipline: comfortable with weekly KPI
reporting, CRM-style tracking, named ownership of every conversation
Comfortable with iterative content workflows: writing drafts, taking technical review
feedback from senior engineers, shipping under deadline;
 

Responsibilities:

— Own the pre-arrival side of the builder funnel: from awareness to first contact to deploy
intent. Hand off to Developer Relations (Documentation & Community) when builder
enters technical onboarding;
— Revive Whitechain mass-audience channels: main Telegram (currently ~70k with low
engagement), X / Twitter (currently ~200k with low engagement), and establish presence
on Farcaster. Define posting cadence, content pillars, and recurring formats.
Engagement uplift is a tracked KPI;
— Run warm sourcing inside adjacent chain communities (BNB Chain, Linea, Mantle,
Base, Cronos Telegram and Discord channels, plus Farcaster). Spot relevant builders,
build relationships, convert to Whitechain-curious;
— Inbound nurturing: when builders surface through content, channels, or external referral,
take 1:1 ownership through to first conversation with technical team or first testnet
deployment;
— Build and maintain the pre-arrival builder pipeline: 20 to 30 qualified builders tracked with
named status, owner, last touch, next action. Weekly pipeline review with Head of
Ecosystem;
— Write technical content under specific developer pain-points: deploy guides, gas
optimization tips, oracle integration walkthroughs, comparison articles vs other chains;
— Coordinate with Developer Relations (Documentation & Community) on technical
accuracy and style;
— Run 1 to 2 recurring online formats (examples: weekly Telegram digest, monthly Twitter
Space, biweekly office hours, weekly builder newsletter). Format choice is candidate-
driven, consistency is non-negotiable;
— Maintain personal active presence on X and Farcaster as a Whitechain-affiliated voice in
the crypto-builder conversation;
— Surface ecosystem feedback from sourced builders and dormant channel listeners back
to Head of Ecosystem and core engineering;
— Complete a Solidity reading and EVM fundamentals ramp during the first 90 days as part
of probation, so that by month 4 the role can review tutorials at code level (see Trial
Period Goals);

Would be a plus

— Prior community or DevRel-adjacent role at an L1, L2, or DeFi protocol top 50 by TVL;
— Documented experience reviving dormant community channels with measurable
engagement uplift;
— Familiarity with EVM tooling at the user level: MetaMask, block explorers, basic Foundry
or Hardhat workflows;
— Writing samples on technical topics (deploy guides, comparison articles, integration
walkthroughs);
— Network of regional EU or CIS builders, hackathon organizers, or Web3 founders;
— Existing personal brand on Crypto Twitter or Farcaster with audience overlap relevant to
target builders;
