Requirements:

— Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, fintech, payments, or technology-driven businesses).
— Strong understanding of operational risk management, compliance, and internal controls, including AML frameworks.
— Experience working with technology, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
— Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize operational processes and workflows.
— Knowledge of IT operations, systems infrastructure, and service-level management.
— Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
— Experience managing external partners, vendors, and service providers.
— Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable operational plans.
— Excellent communication and reporting skills, including interaction with senior management and the Board.

Responsibilities:

— Own and drive end-to-end operational processes
Take full ownership of operational streams across the business (support, payments, compliance, product-related flows)
Ensure processes are functioning effectively and continuously improving
Act as the final point of responsibility for operational outcomes

— Identify gaps and build solutions
Proactively identify inefficiencies, missing links, and risks in existing processes
Design and implement solutions to close these gaps
Step in where ownership is unclear or missing and take initiative to resolve issues

— Cross-functional coordination and execution
Work closely with Product, Support, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering teams
Align stakeholders and ensure smooth execution across departments
Break down silos and drive processes that require multi-team involvement

— Drive continuous improvement
Continuously evaluate operational performance and identify areas for optimization
Improve speed, quality, and cost-efficiency of processes
Introduce scalable solutions, including automation and AI where applicable

— Manage operational performance and metrics
Define, track, and improve key operational metrics (e.g., SLA, quality, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency)
Ensure deadlines are met and outcomes are delivered
Use data to inform decisions and optimize processes

— Take ownership of complex operational initiatives
Lead and execute cross-functional projects (e.g., launching new flows, improving existing systems, scaling operations)
Build frameworks and approaches for new operational challenges
Anticipate future needs and prepare solutions in advance

— Ensure accountability and execution discipline
Take responsibility for outcomes regardless of dependencies
Establish clear ownership within processes and enforce accountability
Ensure issues are resolved, not escalated endlessly

— Work with context, not just tasks
Gather full context before making decisions
Translate business needs into practical, implementable solutions
