Head of Marketing (Hands-on)
About EVIQO
EVIQO is one of the fastest-growing smart EV charging brands in the US residential market, serving customers across the US, Canada, and Europe.
We are already among the Top-5 market leaders in the US in our segment and continue scaling rapidly.
Our mission is to build a category-defining EV charging brand that competes with major players like Tesla, ChargePoint, and Autel.
Our core product is a premium Level 2 smart home EV charger combined with a mobile app and software platform that allows users to monitor and remotely control charging, manage and optimize energy consumption, automate charging sessions, and reduce electricity costs.
With up to 50 Amps of charging power, strong hardware positioning, premium customer experience, and a powerful D2C + Amazon growth engine, we are building much more than just a charger โ we are building a scalable international brand.
We operate at the intersection of hardware, software, IoT, e-commerce, D2C, and international growth.
About the Role
This is not a traditional Head of Marketing role.
We are looking for a strong hands-on marketing leader who is ready to build, execute, and scale marketing initiatives rather than manage a large internal team.
You will work directly with the founder and take ownership of EVIQO's marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer acquisition, and long-term brand awareness across the US and Canadian markets.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will not inherit a large in-house marketing team. Instead, you will execute marketing initiatives yourself, build effective marketing processes, and collaborate with external partners where needed.
We are looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.
Although this role is titled Head of Marketing, we care much more about your ability to build, execute, and drive results than about your previous job title. If you are a strong Senior Marketing Manager or Growth Marketing Leader ready to take full ownership of marketing, we'd love to hear from you.
This role combines the responsibilities of a hands-on marketing leader, growth marketer, brand builder, and the founder's strategic marketing partner.

- Own and improve CAC, LTV, ROAS, Conversion Rate, and other key marketing metrics
- Launch and scale EVIQO's presence across social media platforms
- Build partnerships with YouTube creators and product reviewers
- Build and grow online communities around the EVIQO brand
- Develop and execute PR initiatives, building relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and industry opinion leaders
- Secure EVIQO's presence across major product rankings and review platforms
- Build transparent marketing analytics, reporting, and execution systems
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and contractors
- Work directly with the founder on marketing priorities, product positioning, and long-term business growth

- Experience working with external agencies, freelancers, and contractors
