We are looking for a Head of Sales who will be responsible for sales development, achieving commercial targets, and building an effective sales strategy.

 

Your main responsibilities:

Achieving sales targets and business growth

  • Achieving and exceeding sales, revenue, and profitability targets in Germany
  • Ensuring stable growth of shipment volumes and market share

Strategic planning and execution

  • Developing and implementing a commercial strategy adapted to the German market
  • Launching new services, entering new customer segments, and scaling key accounts

Market and competitor analysis

  • Continuous analysis of the German logistics, courier, and e-commerce market
  • Monitoring competitors, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities

Leadership and team management

  • Building, leading, and developing the Sales team in Germany (Sales Managers, Account Managers)
  • Hiring, onboarding, coaching, and motivating the team
  • Creating a high-performance, result-oriented sales culture

Sales process optimization

  • Designing and improving end-to-end sales processes: lead generation, conversion, onboarding, cross-sell, up-sell, retention, and churn prevention
  • Implementing best sales practices and CRM-driven processes

Customer acquisition and account development

  • Acquiring new B2B clients (e-commerce, SMEs, enterprise)
  • Developing relationships with existing clients through strategic account management

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Close cooperation with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and HR teams
  • Alignment with Nova Post Europe HQ and Nova Poshta Ukraine to ensure unified commercial standards and synergy

Pricing and unit economics

  • Participation in pricing strategy development for the German market
  • Managing unit economics, profitability, and commercial efficiency

Forecasting and reporting

  • Preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and regular reports for top management
  • Monitoring KPIs (revenue, margin, conversion, pipeline, churn, etc.) and adjusting strategy based on data

Work with key clients

  • Personal involvement in negotiations with key and strategic clients (Category A)
  • Building long-term partnerships with major customers and business partners

Compliance and standards

  • Ensuring compliance with Nova Post commercial standards, policies, and quality requirements in Germany

Company representation

  • Representing Nova Post Deutschland at industry events, conferences, and business meetings in Germany as a brand ambassador

 

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing B2B sales with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets

• Experience in building and managing sales teams, including development, motivation, and scaling

• Strong negotiation skills at the C-level and ability to sell value rather than compete solely on price

• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute effective commercial strategies

• Analytical mindset and experience in data-driven sales management, including planning, forecasting, and KPI control

• Deep understanding of the market, customers, and competitive landscape

• Results-oriented mindset with accountability for commercial performance and achieving ambitious targets

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage change, and make quick decisions

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams to achieve results

  • Proficiency in the German language at B2 level or higher and English at B2+
