Application Architect (Python)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect with Python expertise to join our team.  

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and driving architectural decisions for high-tech solutions developed for a US-based client in the consulting and financial domains. The projects are focused on optimizing business processes, increasing operational efficiency, and enabling automation of internal workflows. 

Our team leverages advanced technologies, including AI/ML and LLM solutions, providing you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems and influence the overall technical strategy. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance system architectures using Python. 
• Define and enforce best practices in software architecture, coding standards, and system design. 
• Lead the integration of AI/LLM solutions into existing and new systems. 
• Architect and oversee the implementation of high-load web applications using AWS/Azure core services 
• Make key decisions regarding cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), scalability, and data processing strategies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team. 
• Review and improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability. 
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards. 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and drive innovation within the team. 

Requirements: 

• At least 3 years of experience in a Software Architect role. 
• Prior hands-on experience as a Python Developer. 
• Strong expertise in Python and backend system design. 
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms. 
• Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems. 
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and RESTful services. 
• Experience with data processing and ETL pipelines. 
• Deep understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns. 
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows. 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English. 
• Experience with AI/ML systems, NLP, and LLM integrations. 
• Experience with OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
