Web Hosting Support Agent (Germany-based Cloud Company)
Nebstack is a new Cloud Coumpting Company in Germany offering various Webspace products of a growing bandwidth. We are looking for Web Hosting Support Agents to assist by responding to specific customer requests. On this role, you will not only provide direct support to customers at our Managed Hosting product, but also intervene directly at the server and control panel level to fix any issue a customer may have.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve customers' technical issues by providing real-time support via ticket system in WHMCS, chat and email.
- Remote diagnosis and resolution of support requests.
- Clean documentation of all end-user interactions, time entries, and resolutions accurately in Knowledgebase for training AI Chatbot.
Skills Required
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Speaking German is a plus but not mandatory. All conversations are translated in real-time.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
- Significant experience on troubleshooting several specific areas of the Web Hosting world:
cPanel and similar, WHMCS, WHM, Linux, Windows Datacentre, CMS Systems, Proxmox, MariaDB/MySQL, WordPress, Joomla, FTP/SFTP, among others. Let us know what you're experienced at.
- Knowledge in VPS, webhosting, domains and any similar cloud computing products.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange/M365, and related services.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation with clear and professional communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
