Mission
Own the backend mechanics that keep listings live, compliant, and operationally clean.
This is the person who makes Seller Central actually work.
The role is focused on backend operations, catalog integrity, listing health, compliance, and operational problem-solving inside Amazon Seller Central.
This is not a classic Amazon Account Manager role β this is a hands-on operational ownership position.
Preferred Background
Brand-side experience is strongly preferred over agency background.
Key Responsibilities
β Listing creation, updates, and optimization: titles, bullets, descriptions, search terms, attributes, A+ and Premium A+ modules across US and Canada
β Variation management: parent/child structures, variation themes, merges, splits, understanding Amazon variation policies, knowing what should and should not be used for variation themes
β Backend operations: flat file uploads, bulk edits, catalog data integrity, inventory reports
β Brand Registry tools: Report a Violation, communication with Brand Registry support, reporting sellers for violating Amazon policies
β Account Health management: policy compliance, listing suppression prevention, suspension prevention
β Case management: Seller Support cases, escalations to Account Health Manager, Executive Seller Relations, Brand Registry, SAS team
β Compliance management: electrical compliance, country of origin, CPSC requirements
β Image and video assets: technical specifications, uploads, coordination with the creative team
β Marketplace expansion execution: listing duplication, localization uploads, variation rebuilds for Canada and future marketplaces
β Competitor enforcement: variation abuse monitoring and policy violation enforcement
β Automation: building automation for review scraping and other repetitive workflows
β Task management: working inside ClickUp and understanding corporate workflow structure
Hard Skills
β Seller Central: fluent end-to-end knowledge
β Strong flat files and bulk operations experience (no fear of inventory templates)
β Brand Registry, Project Zero, and IP Accelerator workflows
β Helium 10, DataDive, Keepa, Jungle Scout for catalog and competitor checks
β Basic HTML understanding and image specifications knowledge for A+ modules
β Excel / Google Sheets at a strong working level
β English sufficient to write Seller Support cases that actually get resolved
β Proactive mindset: takes initiative beyond the defined scope and is willing to put in extra effort when the work requires it
Soft Skills & Behavior
β Persistent: Amazon support cases often require 3β5 follow-ups before resolution
β Detail-obsessive: one wrong character in a flat file can break the entire listing
β Self-directed: knows when to escalate and when to keep pushing independently
β Documents solutions clearly so the same issue does not repeat
