Caolan Reports is an independent frontline journalism channel documenting the war in Ukraine. Our reporting is watched by hundreds of thousands of people across the world and is well known inside Ukraine for its ground-level, honest coverage.

We are looking for a talented and motivated video editor to join our small, mission-driven team.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

— Editing documentary-style news reports and short-form video content

— Working closely with the journalist/director on pacing, structure, and storytelling

— Managing footage, sound, and graphics to broadcast standard

— Occasionally cutting quickly to meet news deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

— Solid video editing experience (news, documentary, or online journalism preferred)

— Fluent in Ukrainian and English — both written and spoken

— Able to work independently and take editorial direction

— Kyiv-based is an advantage, but strong candidates elsewhere in Ukraine are welcome to apply

— Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
