Impactable is a B2B performance marketing agency and LinkedIn Marketing Partner with a team distributed across the US and Ukraine.

We're looking for an HR Lead with a solid generalist foundation who's ready to grow into a real people partner for our leadership team. You'll own recruiting, onboarding, review cadences, and compliance โ€” and as you build trust, you'll step into the strategic seat next to the CEO: helping us think through roles, comp, culture, and how we build the team we need to win.

This isn't a back-office admin role. It's a partnership role with a growth ceiling.

Where You Sit in the Org

You report directly to the CEO, partner with the Director of Operations on systems and process, and work day-to-day with Pod Leaders and CoE Leaders.

The CEO leans on you to help find the right hire, not just fill a seat. Pod leaders come to you for a thought partner on performance issues and development. New hires trust you to make sure there's a plan and a path. And you make sure quarterly reviews and feedback cycles actually happen โ€” on time, at quality, every cycle.

What You'll Own

Talent Acquisition. Full-cycle recruiting. You're finding people who'll win in the role and fit the culture โ€” not just filling seats.

Onboarding. New hires should know their role, their goals, and their path within 30 days. You own that experience.

Performance and Review Cadences. Drive the quarterly review process. Hold managers accountable for real development conversations. Make feedback a rhythm, not a scramble.

Culture and Engagement. Run the feedback loops โ€” surveys, stay interviews, exit interviews โ€” that tell us how the team actually feels. Bring the signal to leadership before issues become turnover.

Leadership Partnership and Research. Bring comp benchmarks, role-clarity research, and market data when leadership is thinking through people decisions. Grow into the seat where the CEO leans on you for strategic people analysis.

HR Operations and Compliance. Maintain policies and documentation. Own Ukrainian labor compliance directly. Coordinate US-side HR admin and compliance in partnership with external counsel and payroll providers.

Who You Are

You've been in HR for 2+ years as a generalist with real recruiting experience โ€” not a recruiter who dabbled, and not a coordinator who filled a role once. You've run onboarding. You've sat in on hard conversations. You've held managers accountable for getting reviews done.

You're ready for more. You want to be in the room with leadership, not just executing tasks for them. You're the kind of person who brings research before being asked, who follows through without being chased, and who holds people accountable โ€” including up the chain โ€” without burning relationships.

You're fluent in Ukrainian and English. You carry discretion like it's your job, because it is.

Required:

  • 2+ years as an HR generalist with meaningful full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Fluent Ukrainian and English (written and spoken)
  • Proven ability to drive accountability on review cycles and onboarding
  • High discretion and judgment with sensitive information
  • Strategic orientation balanced with operational follow-through

Preferred:

  • Experience in a digital agency, tech company, or fast-growth environment
  • HR certification (SHRM, PHR, or equivalent)
  • Exposure to cross-border teams (US + Ukraine especially)
  • Exposure to US employment compliance (doesn't need to be SME level)
  • People-management experience

What the First Year Looks Like

90 Days. You know the team and every leader. You've closed open roles in the pipeline. You've identified the top 3 gaps in the people function and have a plan. The CEO has a real partner on hiring decisions.

6 Months. Quarterly reviews are running on time and at quality. Onboarding is measurably better. You've delivered at least one piece of comp or role-clarity research that shaped a leadership decision. Pod leaders lean on you.

12 Months. HR is a strategic function at Impactable, not an admin one. You're in the room for the people decisions that matter. The leadership team can't imagine running the company without you.
