Infrastructure Engineer (Windows / Microsoft Stack)

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer responsible for maintaining, improving, and migrating our IT infrastructure.

This role focuses on Windows environments, Microsoft services, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Server & Infrastructure

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments
• Participate in Active Directory migrations (DNS, DHCP, GPO, AD CS)
• Manage file servers using DFS Namespaces / DFS Replication
• Handle NTFS permissions, ACLs, and auditing

Migrations & Projects

• Participate in infrastructure migration projects
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
• Support SQL Server migrations (HA setups are a plus)

Microsoft Cloud (Entra ID / M365)

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID
• Configure Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect
• Implement MFA, SSPR, and Conditional Access
• Perform basic automation using PowerShell / Microsoft Graph
• Support Exchange Online migrations

Additional Responsibilities

• Work with PostgreSQL (basic level)
• Collaborate on virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Support backup solutions (Veeam or similar)

Requirements

• Proven experience with Windows Server infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory
• Experience with infrastructure migrations (AD / file servers / M365)
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
• Basic networking knowledge
• PowerShell scripting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with VMware / Hyper-V
• Experience with Veeam or similar backup tools
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Workspace ONE)

Languages

• English — Upper-Intermediate+
• German — nice to have
