Affiliate Partnerships Manager
We’re an affiliate publisher running a high-volume, performance-driven newsletter portfolio. We drive traffic to advertisers and brand partners through our owned channels, and affiliate revenue is a core part of the business. We’re looking for an Affiliate Partnerships Manager to own key partner relationships, protect and grow revenue from our traffic, and consistently negotiate better terms.
This is a senior, commercial role. You’ll work with major partners and meaningful revenue, so we need someone sharp, fast, and extremely reliable. The team moves quickly and sometimes requires flexibility in working hours when partner timelines demand it.
Responsibilities
- Partner communication & coordination
- Be the main point of contact for advertisers, affiliate networks, and affiliate managers
- Keep promo schedules, offer updates, performance feedback, and follow-ups tight and proactive
- Build strong relationships so partners prioritize us and share better deals first
- Spot new opportunities early and move fast to secure them
2. Payout negotiation & deal management
- Negotiate commission rates, CPAs, rev shares, and bonuses to maximize earnings
- Regularly review terms and push for improvements based on performance data
- Identify underperforming/undervalued deals and renegotiate with clear numbers
- Manage renewals and escalate when terms need to change
3. Tracking, links & execution
- Own tracking links, sub-IDs, parameters, and attribution hygiene across campaigns
- Prepare promo packages for internal teams (links, copy, creatives, instructions)
- Coordinate launches across multiple partners and deadlines at the same time
- Keep clean records of partners, offers, assets, and timelines
4. Performance & growth
- Monitor partner performance and flag where we’re leaving money on the table
- Improve partner workflows so we execute faster and capture more revenue
- Longer-term: industry events and conferences can be part of growth, but near-term focus is performance and revenue impact
Requirements
- 4+ years in affiliate / performance marketing (preferably publisher/traffic side)
- Proven experience negotiating payouts (CPA, rev share, commissions, bonuses) with advertisers or networks
- Strong understanding of tracking (links, sub-IDs, attribution, what breaks conversions)
- Highly organized with a “zero mistakes” mindset
- Strong English (C1+)
- Comfortable managing multiple partners and deadlines in parallel
- Hungry to grow, performance-oriented, and comfortable with occasional irregular hours when needed
Nice to have
- Experience with Impact, CJ, ShareASale (or similar platforms)
- Affiliate network relationships / strong partner Rolodex
- Experience in digital media / newsletter monetization
- Comfortable attending industry events
