Content Editor (QA-focused)

At EPC Network, we operate an automation-first newsletter publishing system across a growing portfolio of media brands. While many workflows are automated, content quality, account stability, and platform hygiene still require disciplined human QA, especially at scale.

We are looking for a Content Editor/Proofreader (QA-focused)to help us ensure that newsletter drafts are safe to send, publishing accounts remain stable, and critical issues are caught before they create complaints, churn, revenue loss, or platform risk.

🎯 Job Description
This is not a traditional software QA role, and it is not an affiliate or email execution role.

This position focuses on newsletter content QA, rendering checks, account health monitoring, and platform safety across multiple publications. You will review newsletter drafts, detect content and formatting issues, check rendering and structural quality, monitor account health signals, and escalate problems clearly and quickly.

Your role is to catch what automation misses, apply strong judgment, and help protect account quality and account safety across the portfolio.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate newsletter drafts before sending
• Ensure content is clear, structured, and high-quality
• Detect weak content, repetitions, inconsistencies, and AI artifacts
• Suggest improvements or flag content for rewriting
• Perform basic QA checks: links, formatting, images, structure
• Ensure emails are ready to send and user-friendly (especially on mobile)
• Escalate issues clearly and follow through to resolution

📌 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with content in English (Content Editor, Proofreader, Content Manager, Copywriter or similar)
• Strong English reading skills (C1) — ability to quickly assess content quality
• Ability to distinguish good vs weak vs AI-generated content
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with large volumes of text on a daily basis
• Ownership mindset: you notice issues and take responsibility to fix/escalate them

• Basic understanding of email marketing or newsletters
• Experience with QA or structured review processes
• Familiarity with platforms like Beehiiv, Substack, or similar
• Understanding of links, formatting, or simple HTML issues
