VP of Engineering

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization at a key stage of growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can combine:

You will help shape the technical direction of the company, build a strong engineering culture, and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, enterprise-grade products.

• cloud platforms
• distributed systems
• infrastructure-heavy B2B SaaS products
• developer-facing or data-intensive products

What You Will Own

• Scaling the engineering organization across infrastructure, cloud platform, and developer experience
• Building hiring plans, team structure, and engineering culture
• Translating company strategy into clear engineering priorities and execution plans
• Driving product delivery, technical quality, and operational excellence
• Improving reliability, performance, security, and scalability across the platform
• Partnering closely with Product, Developer Relations, Customer Success, and the executive team
• Establishing strong engineering processes around:
  • code quality
  • observability
  • incident response
  • delivery rhythm
  • automation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a distributed engineering organization
• Own engineering execution across core platform and cloud products
• Partner with leadership on roadmap, architecture, and scaling strategy
• Improve system reliability, speed, and operational maturity
• Align engineering efforts with the needs of both developer users and enterprise customers
• Define and execute the hiring strategy for engineering growth
• Build a culture of ownership, rigor, and high technical standards

Required Experience

• 10+ years in engineering leadership
• Experience in senior leadership roles within cloud, platform, or infrastructure engineering
• Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms
• Strong track record of managing distributed teams
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
• Experience running high-scale, production-critical infrastructure
• Experience working with enterprise security and compliance requirements

Technical Background

• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• Experience operating infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Deep knowledge of:
  • observability
  • reliability engineering
  • automation
  • DevOps
  • CI/CD
  • infrastructure as code
