Long-term Project Environment

For a large-scale software project, we are looking for experienced Backend Developers (Senior level only) to strengthen an engineering team.
 

We are rebuilding an existing and successful platform from the ground up. This is a greenfield project with real business context: the existing system is in productive use, and we are redesigning it with a modern architecture and a clear technical direction.

This is not maintenance. This is a structured, high-speed rebuild with long-term perspective.
 

Project Context

We have acquired a company with an established and successful platform.
 

To scale and extend this system, we are:

• rebuilding the platform from scratch
• standardizing the backend on Laravel
• redesigning the architecture into multiple services connected via APIs
• using the existing system and codebase as a reference for business logic and processes

The goal is a clean, modern and scalable architecture, built efficiently without losing the proven domain knowledge.

The Role

You will work on the backend of this new platform and contribute to:

• understanding existing business processes
• translating them into a clean, modern system design
• implementing backend services using Laravel

You will not work in isolation.

The project is guided by a Tech Lead with deep knowledge of the existing system, supported by a team including UX, Product Owner and Architecture.
 

Responsibilities

• Development of backend services using Laravel
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Translation of existing business logic into a modern architecture
• Contribution to a service-based system design
• Implementation of complex workflows and domain logic
• Optimization of database structure and performance (MySQL)
• Integration of multiple services into a consistent platform
• Ensuring code quality, stability and maintainability
• Delivery of production-ready systems

Requirements

• Several years of experience in backend development
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Experience building and structuring REST APIs
• Ability to work with complex business processes
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
• Strong SQL knowledge (MySQL)
• Experience with service-oriented or distributed systems
• Experience with Docker or similar environments
• Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly
• Strong focus on clean architecture and code quality

• This role is Senior only – no onboarding into fundamentals
• You are expected to contribute productively from the beginning
• The project requires both speed and quality
• Architectural direction is defined, but requires active contribution and refinement
• We are looking for professionals who focus on delivery, not personal preferences
