There is already 1 backend developer and 1 frontend developer working on the project, we need 1 more bakend to offload, refine and maintain the project. It is mandatory to have 3+ years of experience and working examples of work in portfolio. Also must have experience with SPA (single page application), as frontend (Next JS) and backend (Laravel) are on different domains.

Technical stack:

1. PHP, Laravel, SQL - in-depth and very confident knowledge of the technologies

2. JavaScript - general understanding of asynchrony, front-end and back-end interaction, understanding of how the written functionality will be further used on the front-end.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development

• Basic experience with Laravel
   
• Proficiency in ES6+, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries like PrimeVue

A backend developer at Baltic LEI plays a critical role in the success of the business. You will be part of a small tight-knit team, helping make decisions about technical implementations and business processes, as well as implementing and maintaining features.

TASKS:

A developer working in our team is responsible for their features from beginning to end. That means his work involves:

1. Identifying technical requirements (spec) with the business team and other developers and writing them down
2. Software development based on the requirements (coding in Laravel - PHP)
3. Writing automated tests for self-written code
4. Manual testing
5. Code deployment
6. Feature monitoring in the weeks following deployment

In the process, the Developer is supported by other members of the development and business team.

The work involves deeply immersing yourself in a large existing application with complex business logic.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• At least 3y experience with Laravel
• Systemic problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn independently
• Consistency and patience. We solve difficult tasks
• Sometimes it takes days or weeks to figure out, to gather, and organize information
