Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the core logic of our platform, focusing on speed, scalability, and stability.

• Core Development: Design and maintain high-load services and platform modules using PHP 8 and Laravel.
• Architecture & Quality: Write reliable, well-tested code. Participate in architectural decision-making and ensure technical stability.
• Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of your features from coding to release. You will deploy to the dev environment and perform sanity checks to ensure functionality before handing tasks over to our dedicated QA team for deep testing.
• Performance: Optimize database queries, implement caching strategies, and manage async processes/queues.
• Integrations: Build complex integrations with external services (payment providers, game aggregators, analytics) via REST and WebSockets.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI), services, and architectural decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the DevOps team to optimize delivery pipelines and work alongside Product & Analytics teams to implement scalable data processing solutions.

• Testing: Create automated tests (unit, integration, feature) to ensure the quality and stability of your code.

   

What we expect from you:

• Experience: 4+ years of commercial experience as a PHP Backend Developer.
• Framework Expertise: Deep understanding of Laravel and its ecosystem.
• Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), query optimization, and working with large volumes of transactional/analytical data.
• API & Protocols: Experience with HTTP, REST, WebSockets, and complex API integrations.
• Async & Queues: Experience with message brokers (SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Infrastructure: Practical experience with Docker and Linux environment.

• Observability: Familiarity with logging, metrics, and tracing (Sentry, NewRelic, DataDog, ELK, etc.).

• AI-Assisted Workflow: Experience with AI coding tools. We welcome a smart approach to AI to streamline complex tasks, from architectural design to documentation, development, and code refactoring.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in a technical leadership role (Tech/Team Lead, Mentor, Buddy) — sharing knowledge and guiding less experienced team members.
• Tech Breadth: Experience with Golang, Node.js, DDD (Domain-Driven Design).

• Analytics: Experience with analytical databases like ClickHouse.

We are looking for a Middle/ Middle+ PHP Developer to join a long-term project focused on building and evolving a complex data-processing platform in the Construction Technology domain.

This role is centered around backend architecture, high-load systems, and real-time data processing. You will be responsible for designing scalable services, managing asynchronous data flows, and ensuring reliable ingestion and processing of IoT device data.

The platform’s core processing system is responsible for IoT data ingestion, real-time processing, and advanced workforce scheduling logic.

The system provides real-time dashboards and analytics for operational decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with PHP in backend development
• Strong expertise in Laravel and its ecosystem in production environments
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including optimization, indexing, and schema design
• Experience with Laravel Jobs and queue systems (Redis, SQS)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with Eloquent ORM performance tuning and N+1 query prevention
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development

Основна частина роботи передбачає безпосередню розробку на PHP, розвиток власної ORM-системи та пов’язаних backend-модулів. Водночас спеціаліст впливатиме на архітектуру продукту, технічні рішення, стандарти розробки та якість роботи команди. Основною мовою програмування є PHP. Для розробки нових модулів і сервісів використовується Laravel, а частина CRM-системи та інтеграцій реалізована на Python. • Здатність читати, аналізувати, підтримувати та рефакторити складний або успадкований PHP-код;
