Enterprise AI Architect (Consultant / Contractor)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Architect Consultant to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. This expert will be responsible for designing foundational AI architecture, establishing security and governance frameworks, and shaping strategies for both commercial and agentic AI adoption.
The ideal professional will bring deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to rapidly deliver high-impact, enterprise-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Foundation & Technical Architecture

• Design and document scalable, secure, and well-governed AI architecture in collaboration with enterprise architecture teams.
• Recommend an optimal technology stack encompassing foundation models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks, ML platforms, and MLOps/LLMOps tools.
• Develop data integration blueprints for real-time ingestion, processing, and vector database management.

1. AI Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance

• Implement AI-specific cybersecurity protocols, including DLP controls, prompt injection mitigation, and secure API management.
• Define and operationalize AI Governance frameworks addressing ethical AI, bias mitigation, and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA).
• Architect monitoring and compliance systems for model performance, drift detection, and risk management.

1. Agentic AI Center of Practice (CoP)

• Develop a roadmap for establishing an Agentic AI Center of Practice to standardize multi-agent systems.
• Produce reference architectures, development playbooks, and operational standards for autonomous AI agent frameworks.
• Drive knowledge transfer, mentoring internal teams and ensuring sustainable AI capability post-engagement.

1. Commercial AI & Revenue Enablement

• Create technical strategies for AI-driven commercial initiatives such as personalized marketing, dynamic pricing, and virtual commerce assistants.
• Identify, prioritize, and design high-impact AI use cases across supply chain, retail execution, and customer engagement.
• Deliver actionable implementation plans to accelerate AI pilot deployment and business value realization.

Qualifications & Experience

Technical Expertise:

• 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture with proven consulting experience.
• 2–3+ years specializing in AI/ML, Generative AI, and LLM orchestration within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks and vector databases.
• Strong grounding in InfoSec, zero-trust principles, and enterprise data management.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft AI platforms (Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio).

Consulting & Business Skills:

• Proven ability to operate at a senior advisory level, delivering architectural assessments and strategic AI roadmaps.
• Pragmatic focus on linking AI architecture to measurable business outcomes and operational efficiencies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional enterprise teams to align technical initiatives with broader transformation goals.
