Senior Programmatic Media Buyer (RTB) to $5700
An international performance marketing company is seeking a Senior Programmatic Media Buyer (RTB) to lead high-budget campaigns and contribute to the development of its programmatic strategy. This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, launch, and optimise large-scale RTB/programmatic campaigns across multiple ad networks
- Manage various ad formats including Banner, Native, Pre-roll, Push, and Pop-under
- Develop advanced bidding strategies, audience segmentation frameworks, and scaling approaches
- Perform daily optimisation to maximise ROI and long-term growth
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify trends and new opportunities
- Forecast results, manage pacing, and scale budgets effectively
- Support tracking architecture and advanced measurement setups, including Google Analytics 4, postback URLs, custom events, and attribution models
- Mentor junior buyers and provide guidance on best practices
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop data-driven testing strategies
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic media buying (RTB)
- Strong experience working with multiple major ad networks and diverse ad formats
- Proven track record managing large budgets and delivering strong ROI on CPC/CPM campaigns
- Deep understanding of RTB auction dynamics, bidding logic, audience segmentation, and multi-channel environments
- Experience with complex tracking setups (postbacks, server-to-server tracking, attribution analytics)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Experience with SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
