Role Overview

The Social Media Manager leads social media presence across multiple platforms by building strategy driven, algorithm aligned, and market relevant content ecosystems. The role focuses on planning, scripting, publishing, optimizing, and scaling social media content that drives brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.

 

The Social Media Manager works closely with design, video production, performance marketing, and brand teams to ensure content aligns with business growth goals and audience behavior.


 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

• Develop and execute full social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals.

• Plan monthly and quarterly content direction based on market trends and audience insights.

• Create structured posting calendars for all active platforms.

• Plan feed aesthetics, storytelling flow, and content sequencing.

Content Creation and Direction

• Write video shooting scripts for reels, short videos, ads, and long form social content.

• Create engaging captions, content descriptions, and storytelling frameworks.

• Coordinate with designers, videographers, and editors to execute content plan.

• Ensure content matches brand tone, positioning, and communication standards.

Platform and Algorithm Expertise

• Maintain strong understanding of platform algorithms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

• Plan content formats and posting timing based on algorithm behavior and performance signals.

• Monitor reach, engagement, retention, and conversion performance.

Market and Trend Analysis

• Track global and local social media trends.

• Identify viral content patterns and adapt them to brand positioning.

• Monitor competitor social media activity and content strategy.

Social Media SEO

• Apply practical social media SEO techniques across platforms.

• Optimize captions, hashtags, video titles, descriptions, and keywords.

• Structure content to improve search visibility inside platforms and external search engines.

 

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven practical experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies.

• Strong experience creating social media strategies and content calendars.

• Experience writing video scripts for marketing and social media content.

• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform mechanics.

• Practical experience with Social Media SEO.

• Strong analytical thinking and performance tracking mindset.

• Strong English communication skills. Additional languages are a plus.
