Technical Writer / Research Copywriter

Altss is building a proprietary intelligence platform focused on alternative asset classes. Clear documentation, structured knowledge, and credible written material are core to how we operate — internally and externally.

This role sits at the intersection of research, product, and communication and owns how complex information is structured, explained, and presented.

What you will do

• Write and maintain long-form research content (blogs, insights, analytical articles)
• Draft and structure internal documentation (concepts, workflows, explanations)
• Build and maintain glossary and taxonomy pages with consistent definitions
• Create case studies that clearly explain problems, approaches, and outcomes
• Draft presentation decks (research summaries, product narratives, internal docs)
• Turn complex, technical, or analytical input into clear, structured writing
• Edit and standardize existing content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
• Collaborate closely with research and product teams to capture domain knowledge

Who we’re looking for

• Excellent technical and analytical writing skills
• Ability to structure information logically (frameworks, definitions, hierarchies)
• Comfortable working across external content and internal documentation
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent written English (C1+)

Nice to have

• Experience writing technical documentation or research content
• Familiarity with financial, data, SaaS, or intelligence products
• Experience building glossaries, taxonomies, or knowledge bases
• Ability to work with subject-matter experts and extract clarity from ambiguity
• Basic understanding of data or technical systems (no coding required)

• Consistency of terminology across glossary, taxonomy, and documents
• Reduction in ambiguity or re-explanation needs internally
• Usability of case studies and decks for internal and external use
• Ability to independently own complex documentation initiatives

• English — C1+ required
